We took the decision to migrate our web hosting to a private company to give us more control and flexibility and, after some problems around the transfer date, are pleased with the initial results

Regulations For Business

Twice a year, on 6 April and 1 October, changes to regulations are issued by the Government. These are called common commencement dates (CCDs). These dates are in place to ensure that businesses know about any changes well in advance, and know when to expect them. Read our Know How page for more details of the key changes that came into force on 1 October 2007.

Office Expansion

Construction work is complete and after some internal re organization we are settling in to our newly expanded premises.

Deals

We are actively working on various development options involving significant public infrastructure in a number of locations.

Farms and Estates

We have agreed significant high value farm sale and purchase deals since the turn of the year.

Our knowledge of the market place gives us an excellent insight into real values and the actual worth of farms, land and estates.

Commercial Leases

We completed negotiations for the lease of a unit in Irvine in a fortnight and are involved in a number of commercial property purchases and leases in Lanarkshire, Ayr and East Ayrshire.

Business Sales

We are closely involved with the acquisition of assets from an existing business and set up of a new operation to take that business forward, and are conducting the sale of an established business in Edinburgh and the sale of an established business in Ayrshire.

Estate Agency

We have just short of £4.5 million of properties currently being marketed.

Lettings

We have three rental properties available at present.
